You can participate in the EMC by presenting Talks and/or e-Poster to the audience. First, you need to create a user account in the conference thereafter you will be able to submit your work in the Abstract Submission found in Delegate Portal.
There will be several types of contributions:
Keynote Talk: Presentation Time- 45 minutes; 40 minutes for the presentation followed by 5 minutes’ question-answer session.
Invited Talk: Presentation Time- 20 minutes; 17 minutes for the presentation followed by 3 minutes’ question-answer session.
Oral Presentation: Presentation Time- 15 minutes; 12 minutes for the presentation followed by 3 minutes’ question-answer session.
Poster Presentation: Prepare e-poster. 3 minutes presentation and 2 min question-answer session. The title and authors must appear at the top of the poster.
Join the EMC
You can easily join the sessions as the Live Conference tab will be functional on the conference website. The participants need to login on the website and enter the tab. As soon as you do that, you will be able to access the streaming video for the lectures and posters session.
The Live Conference tab will be made available on the conference website 30 min prior to the commencement of the session. The participants are required to login and enter the tab. Doing so will enable them to access the session’s streaming video and also give them access to a direct button to the e-poster session platform.
The oral session will encompass multiple presentations with a speaker speaking on a particular topic for 12 + 3 minutes with slides being played. The option of a Question and Answer chat will be there while the conference is in progress so that the participants can raise queries with the speakers. However, these questions will be answered during the Discussion Panel.
Video Proceedings of Advanced Materials (VPoAM): An official open-access journal of IAAM
All the lectures and presentations in the EMC will be published in the official video journal of IAAM - an open-access video journal of Advanced Materials after the peer-review process. Video Proceedings of Advanced Materials (VPoAM, www.proceedings.iaamonline.org) is a peer-reviewed open-access video journal that publishes the videos of the lectures, abstracts, and biography of the author. It is open-access and giving you the possibility to re-watch your sessions. It also gives a comprehensive overview of the multi-inter-trans disciplinary areas of advanced materials research and technology.
General, Session Chairs / Co-Chairs and Poster Evaluation Jury
General Chairs: General chairs will be responsible for the course of the event in the respective assigned sessions or meeting cloud. In the attendees’ minds, you are an extension of the conference and should be knowledgeable of the basics related to the virtual event.
General Co-chairs: General Co-chairs will be responsible for assisting the conference General Chair for the course of the event in the assigned sessions or meeting cloud. In the attendees’ minds, you are an extension of the conference and should be knowledgeable of the basics relating to the online event.
Session Chairs: Session chairs will be responsible for the course of the webevent in the respective virtual session. In the attendees’ minds, you are an extension of the conference and should be knowledgeable of the basics relating to the online event.
Session Co-chairs: Session co-chairs will be responsible for assisting the session chair for the course of the event in the respective virtual session. In the attendees’ minds, you are an extension of the conference and should be knowledgeable of the basics relating to the online event.
E-Poster Evaluation Jury: e-Poster Evaluation Jury will be responsible for the course of the virtual poster session.
Role of Member of Scientific Advisory Board
To advise the conference organizing committee on scientific matters including suggesting topics for sub/sessions, recommend speakers, etc.
To recommend for Keynote (05), Invited (10) and Oral (10) talks for the conference.
To encourage students, researchers, colleagues, and collaborators to participate in the conference.
To track developments of virtual conference activities.
To assist to make grand success of the online conference, as appropriate, through public speaking, professional work, and outreach to contact networks.
Talks and Oral Sessions
The oral sessions will take place on the ZOOM meeting platform. Each session will consist of speakers making their presentations with slides being played. All the speakers should have Zoom installed on their computers.
Before the beginning of the oral presentation, each speaker will be introduced by the organizer. Once the talk finishes, a question and answer session will follow. Then, the questions will be selected by the organizer and he will read them out loud for the speaker to answer them.
The speakers are always bound to respect the allotted time and listen to the instructions of the session chair to ensure the smooth functioning of the program.
Run-through
Two days prior to the commencement of the event, there will be a meeting on Zoom with all the speakers along with the Conference manager. The goal of this run-through will be to experience the platform, check all the necessary technical conditions, and answer all the questions if any.
A few hours before the Live Event, a link will be shared with all the speakers for the event at Zoom. On the day of the event, the speakers will be required to connect at least one hour before the talk begins to ensure a smooth connection.

Abstract submission
After peer-review of submitted abstracts in the conference, speakers/ presenters will receive an acceptance letter for delivering lecture/presentation at the conference via email. Please note that the speakers, by submitting the abstract, give permission to record their lectures and publish in the Video Proceedings of Advanced Materials (VPoAM). All the lectures and presentations in the conference will be published in the official video journal of IAAM - an open access Video Proceedings of Advanced Materials (VPoAM) after the peer-review process.

Technical requirements
All the lecture/oral Sessions will take place on Zoom. For the proper functioning of the Sessions, the speakers will require the following things:
A computer
A functioning webcam
Headphones with microphones
A prepared PowerPoint Presentation
A high-speed internet connection
The speakers are advised to use the Zoom application beforehand in order to get used to the interface and the functioning. During the presentation, they are also advised to be extra careful when connecting or disconnecting the camera or muting the microphone. If a speaker is not speaking, the microphone should preferably be on mute during the sessions.
To ensure effective broadcasting, the PowerPoint presentation should be in the 16:9 format. If you are converting the presentation from 4:3 into 16:9, make sure that the figures do not get stretched. If they do get stretched, use the option in the figure-size menu to restore the original size.
